On the Road Again

I posted the quote above on my twitter feed and felt it appropriate as I begin to travel again.  I am not saying I have not been traveling, but the travel was within country-Austin.  I love Austin.  However, now I am about to hit the road again and head overseas for a 19 day trip to the Asia Pacific Region for both work and leisure.  Specifically, China, Korea, and India.  I have never been to Korea before so I am not sure what to expect.  I am returning to Shanghai and am super excited to be there again to experience the sights and sounds of the bustling city, walk along The Bund, experience good eats, see familiar faces and explore Pudong since I did not have opportunity previously.  My stay in Korea will be the shortest amongst the three countries; it was a last minute add-on.  My time in India will be extended by a week to travel through some cities I have never ventured before.  Similar to my previous trip to India I will be in a different city every two days.  The cool thing is I will spend my birthday this year in two different countries, China and Korea.  Last year I spent my birthday in Croatia-- I am hoping birthday travel will be a fantastic trend for me moving forward.
