Welcome to 12:56 a.m. Hi, welcome to 12:56 a.m. I designed this website to solve one simple problem. When I turned on my personal computer to go on to the internet after work, I wanted to land on a calm relaxing home page. So, I created 12:56 a.m.
Since then, my site has evolved to sharing my experiences through a personal blog, creating coloring books, and now 12:56 a.m. Box.
We all lead busy lives, and I am no exception. Every year it gets harder and harder to come up with great gift ideas, and it takes time. Benjamin Franklin said, “Lost time is never found again.” The retail space is vast, and there are a lot of lovely purchasing options out there—I find I am in a constant quest to find the right gift at the right time to give family and friends around the country. I came to realize I was curating my gifts like I curate my travel experience, my music, my wardrobe, etc. I figured others might be faced with the same gift-giving challenge. To solve the problem I created 12:56 a.m. Box. Our 12:56 a.m. Boxes are curated gift boxes for various occasions. What makes these boxes unique is the diversity of the product vendors, the quality, and the practicality of the products. Our products are hand-selected items sourced from black-owned, small businesses, artisan crafters, and Etsy sellers. I always say, “Give the gift you want to receive.”
