How long will it take my order to arrive?
Orders take 3-8 business days to deliver via standard shipping, depending on where they're going.
We ship Monday - Friday, 9a - 4p PST, and are closed Saturdays and Sundays.
We do not ship on the following holidays: MLK Jr Day, President's Day, March 5, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and annually 12/24-1/1.
Is Shipping Included in 12:56 a.m Box gifts?
12:56 A.M. BOX (gift boxes): No, there is an additional fixed-rate shipping fee of $10.50 per gift box at check-out.
My box is a gift. I don’t want a receipt or any prices included in the packaging. Do you include pricing in the box? Each gift box purchased at 12:56 a.m. Box is shipped in luxe packaging and topped with a handwritten note. No packing slip or invoice of any kind is ever included in the shipping box.
In terms of prices per item, we do not alter any of our products by removing tags or crossing out labels - we want to ensure the packaging remains beautiful and intact - it so happens, many of our products do not come to us with price tags. When they do, they are small and subtle.
Does the box ship as pictured? The 12:56 a.m. Box has a magnetic closure and is adorned with a ribbon. Each box will ship inside a shipper box, so it stays clean and pretty.
What is the size of each box? We currently have three box sizes – Large Keepsake, glossy black [10" x 10" x 4"], Medium Foldaway/reusable, glossy black [8" x 8" x 3"], Small Keepsake, glossy white [6” x 6” x 2 3/4”]. Your support will determine whether we have more sizes in the future.
I want to order multiple boxes shipping to multiple addresses, but your website only allows me to enter one address per order. What do I do? Yes, sometimes, these template websites can be frustrating. To work around this, you can place a separate order for each recipient. As we grow we will explore a more viable solution in the future.

MARKETPLACE GIFTS: No, there is an additional fixed-rate shipping fee of $10.50 for Marketplace gifts.
Is Shipping Included in Bookshelf books from third-party vendors?
BOOKSHELF: Books purchased from Bookshelf through third-party vendors are subject to the shipping policies of each vendor. Please review the third-party vendor's website for their shipping policy. We are not responsible for shipping through third-party vendors.
FINE PRINT: Our boxes ship within the United States only. We do not ship internationally.
RETURN & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
12:56 A.M. BOX POLICY: Per our policy, any 12:56 a.m. Box/gift box and the items curated in them are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. We work hard to find products that appeal to a wide array of interests, but we do realize that our 12:56 a.m. Box recipients each have their own unique taste. If for some reason you or the recipient are unsatisfied with your purchase, please let us know at hello@twelvefiftysixam.com and we will do our very best to resolve the issue. Any breakage that may have occurred in transit must be reported within 7 days of receipt to be eligible for replacement.
All 12:56 a.m. Box [curated box] sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
MARKETPLACE POLICY: We only offer returns on items purchased through the Marketplace within 15 days of shipment of items. Products must be returned in their original packaging and in stellar condition. All returns will be subjected to a $6 return fee, which will be deducted from your refund. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above-mentioned standards.
BOOKSHELF POLICY: Books purchased through third-party vendors’ websites are subject to the return policy of the third-party vendor.
